It is interesting how, when a person is small, their joys are enormous: a very tasty candy — nothing could be tastier! Or a flower. If it is a scarlet flower, then there is none more beautiful in all the world. A person grows and grows, and there are more and more candies in life, but less and less joy from them. And these days candies are not what they used to be.
“Well, you compared that Fanta with this one!” (“What Men Talk About.”)
Palm oil, generously overflowing in sweets, calls one toward palm trees by the sea, but it in no way recalls the childhood joy of sweetness filling the mouth, flowing inward down the throat and outward down the chin.
Or flowers. Tell me, please, why did that daughter, the youngest, the beloved one, need a scarlet flower? She sent her parent beyond thrice-nine lands! But in childhood it is immediately clear why.
Because it is a scarlet flower, more beautiful than any... well, you remember.
Or take friends, for example. In childhood you love them so much that you are ready for anything. I, for instance, packed my belongings into a doll box in order to run away with my friend Tanka in search of happiness and adventure, because Tanka had taken offense at her grandmother. And I was not at all afraid: what was there to fear when Tanka was a full two years older and already six!
No, no, friends remain faithful, flowers remain beautiful, and candies remain tasty, but... that Fanta and this one!
Perception — pure, unclouded by knowledge of the dangers of palm ingredients and legal responsibility for picking plants from the Red Book — gives enormous joy. Although... “ignorance of the law is no excuse”; “much knowledge brings much sorrow”...
And still, joys are always joyful, and everyone has their own. For some, a tasty candy; for others, a scarlet flower.
And for me it is joyful to take my tablet in the morning and write:
Good morning, my Facebook ones, my big ones and my little ones, lovers of candies and scarlet flowers. Have a good day. And may there be many different joyful joys in your life)) Big and small.
“May the fish be caught, big and small.” Well, that is another story.
