The winners of the regional competition “Best Manager and Organization of 2004” gathered in the large hall of the Regional Duma.
Last year was a successful one for them. The enterprises they head worked effectively, increased production, and reached new milestones in large and small business, in the financial-credit sector, and in the social sphere. This success is no accident; in many ways it is determined by the personality of the leader, notes the State Television and Radio Company “Volgograd-TRV.”
Kaidar Sariev, chairman of the Limanny agricultural cooperative in Pallasovsky District: “The role of a modern leader is multifaceted. One must be a virtuoso entrepreneur and study the sales market.”
Alexander Grishin, head of Grishinykh LLC in Novoanninsky District: “I am the head of a peasant farm; manager is an unfamiliar word. The trick is simple — one has to work properly and deal with the newest technologies. Then success will come, and people will notice.”
Elena Orlova, Director of the Volgograd Children’s Art Gallery: “I believe that any award is recognition of the merits of the organization. Attention has been paid to culture, and the children have not gone unnoticed.”
It is an honorary title, but it gives no special privileges.
Yevgeniya Nikonova, Director of the Volgograd Institute of Youth Policy: “The privilege is to work even more.”
Governor Nikolai Maksyuta thanked those present for the work that brings the region into leading positions in the Southern Federal District.
All the awardees will become the heroes of a book published annually based on the results of the competition. The 8th regional competition “Best Manager and Organization of 2005” has already been announced.
